Autoresponder Previews For Your Potential Clients

The first step in successfully marketing any product is that of building interest and excitement for potential clients.

Autoresponders are an essential business tool in building excitement and interest. For example, to build interest in a product or service, tell them what it will do and how soon it is available to them. If you are writing an ebook, let the visitors and potential opt in subscribers know about it on your website.

However, you can do more than build their interest by telling them about it, you can also use an autoresponder to allow them a preview of your product. Previews are great business tools, which allow your potential client, just a small taste of what is in store for them. It is the same concept as watching those previews of a movie coming soon to a theater near you. It works!

All you have to do is load one chapter from an ebook into the autoresponder then place an opt in form on your website. Visitors who are interested will enter their name and email address to receive their free chapter preview. This builds your list of potential customers. Once a week, send them a reminder email, giving them the release date as well as information of what they can expect from your product. This keeps building the excitement and interest of the product.

A couple of days before you launch your product offer a pre-release copy for sale, to those who received the preview. You can decide if you would like to offer them a discounted price for the purchase in offer or you can leave the price as it is on launch day.

You should check the list of individuals who signed up for the preview, to see how many subscribers there are. They have their option to unsubscribe, yet they continue to receive information. These are high target contacts for your product. They hold interest and excitement about receiving the autoresponder message letting them know it is time to get their own copy.

Automation is a wonderful creation. When you use an autoresponder, you can find out whether there is a market for your product, while building excitement and interest before its release. It is essential for creating profits, be sure to use an autoresponders to build interest. You can watch the profits come in when you build interest and excitement for your potential clients.

      Working With Autoresponder Email Courses

One of the most successful marketing methods for increasing sales is offering free items to those who visit your website. Free courses by email are very popular; those who find interest in your topic increase sign up for such courses. Autoresponders provide better maintenance and delivery of these courses.

You simply set up the autoresponder to send out a series of emails of the lessons. You can set the lessons for distribution at detailed intervals. Determine how often course lessons are sent by email to those who are on your list. Email courses are different from traditional, web based or any other form of taking a learning course.

There is no interaction between the instructor and student. The instructor writes out the information, places the lesson in their autoresponder series, set the timing and the rest is automation. You may opt for daily, every other day, every three days as well as other times you feel is best for your email students.

Email courses are popular for selling services or products. For example, let us say you sell widgets. You may develop a course, teaching others how to care for and use their widget. Do you know that experts agree that when given enough thought, you can build an email course for almost any product or service you can imagine?

Determine what course you will teach and how long it should take to finish. If you send a course every other day for two weeks, there will be seven lessons. Write out these lessons and load them into your autoresponder. Set each lessons intervals. In this case, they will be 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13. Depending on your personal preferences, you may separate the email to a wider interval if your course requires additional studies on your students part. By setting up that way, you allow more time for your students to work up their schedule. However, do not spread the lessons by more than 4 days, because you will lose the momentum.

The first lesson goes out one day after you receive the request for the email course. The second goes out three days after you receive the request for the course and so on. These intervals of lessons are set for the number of days after an individual signs up for your course. Be sure to check your spelling and grammar before sending an email. This ensures your lessons look and sound professional.

Then you will advertise the autoresponder email address to activate the service. You should do a test first, however by sending yourself each lesson. This allows you to see what your students see when they sign up.

        Autoresponders And Your Customer Service

Generally, customer service is performed one on one with each client. It works wonderfully offline, however online communications do not offer this luxury. With clients all over the world, it is not possible to deal with each personally. Autoresponders are excellent business tools for such situations as this.

Autoresponders make customer service so much easier. An autoresponder can send out sales receipts for a completed order, as well as information for accessing the product and thank you emails. Autoresponders are there to use whether at your computer or enjoying a well deserved vacation. However, customer service does not stop there. If you are away from your computer, you may be letting one of your clients down.

For example, an elderly man finds your product interesting and places his order. Everything is fine. He gets his receipt, the download information and the thank you email. The product an ebook you have compiled into a PDF downloadable file. However, this man has no idea what a PDF file is or what you mean by right click to download. He needs customer service. He has purchased your product, needs help and there is no one around, with the exception of your autoresponder.

You should also set up an additional autoresponder that sends out a FAQ or frequently asked questions for problems that concern customer service and how to access the product. You need a support autoresponder for such occasions. When he sends a message to support, he should receive an email telling him that the message has been received and when it will be addressed. This provides him with a bit of comfort. In most cases, clients will wait for an exact period of time for assistance.

On the other hand, if he has no idea how to download the ebook sends his message to support and receives no reply, more than likely he will quickly become very dissatisfied. Autoresponders can and should be set up in less than 5 minutes. This can make a difference between an irate client and a patient client. It really is worth the time to do so.

Sit down and consider any potential problem that may arise for your clients when thinking out your ordering process. Once you have your autoresponder, set up for addressing these problems you will find satisfied customers enjoying your customer service. Why is this? It is because your autoresponder handled their problems promptly.

Another reason why you should not use your own hosted autoresponder

I have a strong conviction that you should not use your hosted autoresponder. Here is another reason.

If your website is hacked or malfunctions, ALL your marketing is halted to a complete stop if you host your own autoresponder at your own server.

This has been the case for the in the past 2 days. After much effort, I was able to regain the control of my websites. Fortunately, I am using 3rd party autoresponder for my email marketing - which has proven its worth again during the past 2 days’ some hacker’s attack.

If you are considering to employ email marketing as part of your marketing strategy, do consider to use a third party autoresponder, such as aweber or getresponse, instead of self-hosted solution.

Though it’s a bit more expensive, I am glad that I hosted it somewhere else.

            Autoresponder and Ecommerce Integration

It is essential that purchase orders from your website receive acknowledgment immediately. You can do this by using an autoresponder and your shopping cart. Actually, most shopping carts have their own built in system.

You should include several things when setting up your autoresponder to convey messages to someone who has recently made a purchase. This is your chance to speak to your client, while telling them about any other deals you may have or specific items that are available to them. You should use your autoresponder and shopping cart together, it is a great opportunity.

Never, place your thank you sales message on the same autoresponder as your email sales receipts. Placing your sales message on the customer access email is a bad idea as well. It would fit much better on the sales receipt email. Anytime you send out a thank you sales message, send it out alone. This way your client focuses solely on that message.

Thank your customer for their recent purchase, while telling them how much the service or product will help them. You may also let them know about any other products available to them that correspond with the purchase they just made. For example, shampoo and cream rinse for the hair. Vacuum cleaners need bags and carpet cleaning powder. Tell them about your range of products as well, as how they compliment each other for purchase.

Just remember not to let your customers get away from you with no further contact. Consider a physical location, there are many items for sale by the registers, these are impulse or last minute purchases. Your thank you sales letter serves the same purpose.

Do not assail your clients. Sure it is alright to periodically send information to them concerning your specials once they make a purchase, however, emailing them daily is not good business it is spam. Responsively use your autoresponders. Take the time to find out that your autoresponder set up can automatically remove requests. Be mindful that any information you send to your clients is of value to them.
