    Working With Autoresponder Email Courses

    One of the most successful marketing methods for increasing sales is offering free items to those who visit your website. Free courses by email are very popular; those who find interest in your topic increase sign up for such courses. Autoresponders provide better maintenance and delivery of these courses.

    You simply set up the autoresponder to send out a series of emails of the lessons. You can set the lessons for distribution at detailed intervals. Determine how often course lessons are sent by email to those who are on your list. Email courses are different from traditional, web based or any other form of taking a learning course.

    There is no interaction between the instructor and student. The instructor writes out the information, places the lesson in their autoresponder series, set the timing and the rest is automation. You may opt for daily, every other day, every three days as well as other times you feel is best for your email students.

    Email courses are popular for selling services or products. For example, let us say you sell widgets. You may develop a course, teaching others how to care for and use their widget.     The first lesson goes out one day after you receive the request for the email course. The second goes out three days after you receive the request for the course and so on. These intervals of lessons are set for the number of days after an individual signs up for your course. Be sure to check your spelling and grammar before sending an email. This ensures your lessons look and sound professional.

    Then you will advertise the autoresponder email address to activate the service. You should do a test first, however by sending yourself each lesson. This allows you to see what your students see when they sign up.

      Autoresponders And Your Customer Service

      Generally, customer service is performed one on one with each client. It works wonderfully offline, however online communications do not offer this luxury. With clients all over the world, it is not possible to deal with each personally. Autoresponders are excellent business tools for such situations as this.

      Autoresponders make customer service so much easier. An autoresponder can send out sales receipts for a completed order, as well as information for accessing the product and thank you emails. Autoresponders are there to use whether at your computer or enjoying a well deserved vacation. However, customer service does not stop there. If you are away from your computer, you may be letting one of your clients down.

You need a support autoresponder for such occasions. When he sends a message to support, he should receive an email telling him that the message has been received and when it will be addressed. This provides him with a bit of comfort. In most cases, clients will wait for an exact period of time for assistance.

      On the other hand, if he has no idea how to download the ebook sends his message to support and receives no reply, more than likely he will quickly become very dissatisfied. Autoresponders can and should be set up in less than 5 minutes. This can make a difference between an irate client and a patient client. It really is worth the time to do so.

      Sit down and consider any potential problem that may arise for your clients when thinking out your ordering process. Once you have your autoresponder, set up for addressing these problems you will find satisfied customers enjoying your customer service. Why is this? It is because your autoresponder handled their problems promptly.

        Another reason why you should not use your own hosted autoresponder

        I have a strong conviction that you should not use your hosted autoresponder. Here is another reason.

        If your website is hacked or malfunctions, ALL your marketing is halted to a complete stop if you host your own autoresponder at your own server.

        This has been the case for the in the past 2 days. After much effort, I was able to regain the control of my websites. Fortunately, I am using 3rd party autoresponder for my email marketing - which has proven its worth again during the past 2 days’ some hacker’s attack.

        If you are considering to employ email marketing as part of your marketing strategy, do consider to use a third party autoresponder, such as aweber or getresponse, instead of self-hosted solution.

        Though it’s a bit more expensive, I am glad that I hosted it somewhere else.
